Here's my equipment. Please note that I do not use an amp on any of my recordings. Instead, I use the Amp Simulator in my footpedal. My setup is like this...
Guitar > Pedal > PC
Keys > PC
I record like this for two reasons.
1. It sounds alot better than recording my amp.
2. I can record without making too much noise.
3. It's easy...
Yamaha - Guitar - EG112
This is my first guitar. 22 frets. It has a couple problems. The whammy bar was broken off inside the guitar. It's a screw in whammy bar, so I can't just unscrew it and replace it. Sometime later I started having problems with my High E string. It plays high notes out of tune for some reason (7 and 19 aren't the same note for example). I used this in my early recordings. I don't use it much now.
Washburn - Guitar - HOB-E
This is the guitar I use now. It's pretty much the same as the old one, but without as many problems. Intonation seems a little off, but it's nowhere near as bad as the other guitar. The strings like to ring out with the slightest touch giving me lots of unwanted noise. But it's 24 frets!
Yamaha - Keyboard - PSR275
Touch Sensitive, but doesn't have a pitch bender or a modulator... It has 480 voices. It sounds slightly better than General Midi. 61 keys.
Yamaha - Amp - GA10
Washburn - Amp - Bad Dog BD8K
Digitech - Footpedal - RP300A
This is what makes my guitar sound... decent. Without this my guitar+amp will make terrible "barking" noises.
